குருவே கடவுள்
அந்த நாட்டின் அரசனுக்கு இரண்டு மகன்கள். அவனுக்குப் பின் நாட்டை ஆட்சி செய்ய வேண்டியவர்கள். எனவே அவர்கள் கல்வி, கேள்விகளில் சிறந்து விளங்க வேண்டும் என்று ஓர் ஆசிரியரிடம் கல்வி கற்பதற்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தான்.
கல்வி கற்பதற்குப் புறப்பட்ட மகன்களுக்குச் சில அறிவுரைகளைப் போதித்தான் அரசன்.
``பிள்ளைகளே... உங்களுக்கு அறிவுக் கண்ணை அளிப்பவர் ஆசிரியர். அவரை பெற்றோரைப் போல நேசிக்க வேண்டும். அடக்கமாக நடந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். குருவின் பேச்சைக் காது கொடுத்துக் கேட்க வேண்டும்.
அவர் முன் சத்தமாகப் பேசக் கூடாது. அவரைச் சந்திக்கும்போது வணக்கம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். அவரிடம் அன்பாகவும், அடக்கமாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும். கல்வி கற்கும் இடம் ஒரு கோவில், புத்தகங்கள் அறிவுப் பெட்டகங்கள் என்பதை நீங்கள் உணர வேண்டும்'' என்று கூறி அனுப்பி வைத்தான் அரசன்.
பிள்ளைகள் இருவரும் கல்வி கற்பதற்குப் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்றனர். தந்தையின் சொல்படி தங்களது ஆசிரியரிடம் மிகவும் மரியாதையாக நடந்து வந்தனர்.
ஒருசமயம் ஆசிரியர் கல்வி போதித்துவிட்டு வெளியே செல்லப் புறப்பட்டார். உடனே மாணவர்கள் இரண்டு பேரும் போட்டி போட்டுக்கொண்டு ஆசிரியரின் காலணியை எடுத்துவர முண்டியடித்து ஓடினர். ஆளுக்கொரு காலணியை எடுத்துவந்து ஆசிரியரின் கால்களில் அணிவித்தார்கள். குருவும் மிகவும் மனம் மகிழ்ந்து நல்லாசி வழங்கினார்.
அதை அறிந்த அரசன் தனது மகன்களைப் பாராட்டினான்.
அந்தப் பிள்ளைகள் இருவரும் பிற்காலத்தில் சிறந்த மன்னர்களாகத் திகழ்ந்தார்கள். சிறுவயதில் தங்களுக்குப் பாடம் போதித்த குருவையும் மறவாமல் உதவி செய்து உரிய கவுரவம் அளித்தனர்.

ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட சொல் அல்லது வாக்கியத்தினை, பத்தியை அடிக்கோடிட, சாய்வெழுத்துக்களாக மாற்ற நாம் என்ன செய்கிறோம்? டெக்ஸ்ட்டை தேர்ந்தெடுக்க மவுஸ் கர்சர் அல்லது ஷிப்ட் கீயுடன் அம்புக் குறி கீயினைப் பயன்படுத்தி அதனை ஹைலைட் செய்திடுகிறோம்.
